About Linsey Kornblau
A graduate of the Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia, Linsey Kornblau made the honor roll three consecutive years and scored a 5 on her AP Calculus exam. She then attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, earning a bachelor of arts in aeronautical science and participating in a number of extracurricular activities. Linsey Kornblau maintained membership in the collegiate chapter of the Women In Aviation club and The Ninety Nines, an international organization of female pilots.
After graduation, Ms. Kornblau joined Wheels Up, a private jet charter company based in Nashville. As an account manager, she focused on customer retention by tending to members’ flight requirements. Since 2018, she has served as a client services associate with Oppenheimer in New York City.
At age 17, Ms. Kornblau gained fame for flying her Cessna 182 skyline from Virginia to Los Angeles and back to raise more than $100,000 for Virginia Commonwealth University's Massey Cancer Center. This impressive feat earned her the Spirit Of Giving Award and the Philanthropist of the Year Award.
